I think we have forgot
the significance of Independence and the struggle of our freedom
fighters. Independence day merely means a holiday for us. We even not bother to
attend the Independence day celebration. We must respect our nation, national
anthem and national flag.
Today I attended the independence day
celebration at historic Thodo Ground of Solan, a district function held in
state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It was really a unforgettable moment for
me. It was a rainy day, but the Police Jawans and students of different schools
were filled with enthusiasm. It was very sad that only a few people were
there to attend a national festival.
It was really a different moment for me and I never have such feeling before. At the very moment when the National Flag
was unfolded and the band played national anthem I have got gooosebumps all over.
It was really a moment of proud.
